nboi community work and evangelism….
For twenty years, NBOI has held to its motto: "Bringing hope, one child at a time." Today, we give thanks for the miraculous work of the Lord, who is extending that same hope not only to the people of Karamoja in Napak District, Uganda, but also to communities in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, and Kenya. This divine work is carried out through our devoted missionaries, committed to bringing hope and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ in these regions. Seeing the transformative impact of their service, we are deeply humbled and grateful to be part of this life-changing work. We ask that you pray for those who have accepted Christ to find strength and stability in his power, and to continue interceding for them so they may grow in faith and hope.
🌍 NBOI Mission Trip Highlights
Rwanda
We visited Maparasha Primary School, where children from difficult homes welcomed us with joy. Truly, NBOI is one child at a time. In Burinda Cell, scarred by genocide, widows, orphans, and children with disabilities received basins, soap, and skin oil — simple gifts that meant dignity and the chance to attend school. Later, we joined in deworming, a day filled with hope and care.
Uganda
Our first day was house‑to‑house evangelism, reconnecting with families and hearing their spiritual journeys. We prayed with a church member battling cancer, and she was so encouraged that she joined the seminar the next day. God moved powerfully — seven people gave their lives to Christ, and eight were baptized. Later, we gathered with the church for fellowship, dinner, tea, and snacks, watching the film of Jesus’ crucifixion.
Congo
In Goma, Alex preached about giving life to Christ. Seventeen young people accepted the gospel, and even Maria, a woman in her sixties, surrendered her life to Jesus. We gave out 20 Bibles, reminding us that God’s Word is the greatest gift.
Thanks
Our trip was truly beautiful. In total, 25 people received Christ. After traveling more than seven thousand kilometers, God kept us safe and brought us home. We thank Him for every soul saved, and we ask you to keep praying for those who gave their lives to Jesus, that their faith may grow strong.
