The Vision is to Bring Hope One Child at a Time.

New Beginnings Orphanages International

NBOI

NBOI-New Beginnings Orphanages International, is a 501(c)(3) organization and a ministry of helps. Training is provided on an on-going basis as an outreach not only to the needy and outcast, but also to those with a heart to share their blessings and are seeking a credible, accountable vehicle through which to safely approach volunteering. NBOI is a wealth of resources and wisdom to guide and navigate around the pitfalls that spoil the best of intentions.

Allows us to be the means by which you enter into the harvest field to become hand that help and heal.

God asks in Psalms 82:3 that we "Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy." That is our aim and focus at New Beginnings Orphanages International(NBOI). We actively seek out and support orphans and the caregivers that tend them. Our mission is to bring hope and life to those who suffer and those who serve in the afflicted corners of the world by providing financial, medical, educational, and spiritual resources. We provide training and support for missionaries who share our burden for the least and the lost.

We leverage our resources, talents, and blessings to spread awareness of the need and garner support from our friends near and far who have a heart for the harvest and desire to help us labor while it is day. We will keep this site updated with stories and images so that you can be connected and we can be accountable with whatever talent or support you desire to entrust us with. Our greatest hope is that you can share the inspiration and joy we receive from our labors in Africa and beyond as we share the good news of God's grace and love with children the Lord calls His own. We value any level of support you can offer financially and welcome your participation if you can join us in any of our various mission fields. We covet your prayers and thank you in advance for your faithfulness and help.

In His name and grace,

The NBOI Team

Mission

Our mission is to train, encourage, and disciple others to support and serve orphans and their caregivers with spiritual, financial, medical, and educational resources.

We Rescue and House

We work with children who have been abused and abandoned in a variety of situations.  Many of the children have suffered from physical or sexual abuse that has left them to fend for themselves in harsh situations.

We Help Heal

We provide resources to help these children heal mentally, physically, and spiritually. Our resources include the provision of medical and dental care, psychological and trauma recovery counseling, and exposure to the Bible coupled with loving examples of its applications.

We Educate

We assist in the provision of primary, secondary, and post secondary education and training.

We Develop Disciples for Cycles of Impact

We make life transferring connections with the children exposing them to the Christ in us, while challenging them to do the same in their lives.

We begin in Africa and reach for the uttermost parts

Our hearts were first challenged in Africa, but we recognize a call to help as many as we can wherever we can.

Founders

Wayne and Jo Anne Mitchell

Wayne Mitchell cofounded NBOI with his wife, Jo Anne, in 2005 as a result of a short term mission exposure to Kenya in 2004. Wayne currently serves as the visionary president and CEO of NBOI partnering with indigenous NGOs in Africa and expanding to the globe rescuing homeless children. Wayne and Jo Anne began the organization with a passion to lead people to an understanding of the awesome relationship that they have in Christ Jesus all over the world. The Mitchell's vision is to develop communities of support to go around the world that gives orphans opportunities to thrive.
